The college’s vision is to be a premier, self-sustaining not-for-profit provider of innovative education and training. This approach is the foundation of service provision within the college.
In pursuing successful learning outcomes for our clients:
- the college aims to increase its understanding of clients’ learning needs and improve the efficiency and effectiveness with which we deliver learning experiences;
- the college recognises the importance of continuously improving the way it does things and takes care to reduce unnecessary consumption;
- the college recognises the importance of contributing to the quality of the human and global environment and commits to full compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements;
- the college cares about the environmental impact of its policies, activities, products and services and wherever possible, will work to reduce this impact and avoid all forms of pollution. In particular, the college has implemented a paper reduction policy. To effect this, the college sends email in preference to surface mail and constantly updates and amalgamates its surface mail addresses due reduce duplication. The college also reduces where ever possible, its impact on land fill by actively re-cycling paper and other goods particularly electronic equipment.
- At least annually, the college will underatake a waste audit to identify areas of possible waste reduction.
- the college is working to integrate its environmental policies and practices into all of its processes to ensure that all services to clients reflect that care and contribute to ecologically sustainable development of the college.
In pursuing these objectives, the College has implemented an integrated management system that satisfies the requirements the Australian Quality Training Framework.
