If you want to learn Final Cut Pro 4 in Sydney, then this course of 4 classes is for you.

Participants will learn to edit their own material or work on either a short documentary or drama.

Agenda

During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

• Understanding digital video
• Concepts of editing
• logging of footage
• movie capture, including batch capture
• composting and effects
• titling and audio editing

We will begin by using the tutorials provided by the edit programs.
Participants can then use their own footage. Some edit material will also be available.

Objectives

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

By the end of the course the student will have:

• Developed the skills to edit either a documentary or short drama.

If you have a camera, please bring it to class.
