If you want to gain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in Sydney, then this course is for you.
This course is relevant for those people who are working in a vocational educational learning environment where they need to understand how the VET sector operates and be able to unpack training packages to meet client needs. You will learn to apply the principles of inclusive practice and implement OH&S procedures in a learning environment, and you will also learn how to deliver and assess training for groups and individuals both in the workplace and in a classroom setting. The course is delivered in four modules comprising:
- Design and Deliver Training
- The Workplace Learning Environment
- Workplace Assessment
- Facilitate Workplace Learning
There are a total of twelve training sessions delivered on weekdays from 9:30am-5:30pm. In addition to the face-to-face training we estimate a requirement of approximately two hundred hours of independent study which incorporates preparation for in-class assessment and a work-based assessment for each module. Please see individual modules for details of course content. You can also download the TAA Course Outlines from the bottom of this page.
