If you want to learn Pronunciation and Communication in Sydney, then this course of 8 classes is for you.
Learn how to make yourself clearly understood by practising the sounds, rhythms and tones of spoken English as well as other forms of communication such as body language.

Agenda
During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.
- Learning the sounds of English – vowels and consonants.
- Practising the the sounds of English.
- Practising stress and syllables.
- Practising word stress in conversation – getting the message.
- Learning to speak smoothly – contractions and linking.
- Practising speaking with English rhythm and intonation.
Objectives
The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.
By the end of the course the student will have:
- Identified the sounds in English you find difficult to pronounce.
- Learned techniques for pronouncing those sounds.
- Identified and practised English conversation using correct stress and rhythm.
- Identified and practised the tonal changes of English.

Bring a pen and some paper to class.
Cleveland St English High, corner Cleveland and Chalmers Sts, Surry Hills (5 min walk from Devonshire St exit of Central Station). Enter from Chalmers St.
