Termite Information for the Homeowner

Termites cause greater economic loss to homeowners than flood, fire and storms combined. These tiny creatures have the ability to invade our homes and cause damage to our most valuable asset. Your first step in winning the war against termites is the same as in any other battle. Know your enemy. This course is designed to provide information on how termites function, steps you can take in order to minimise the termite threat to your property, and to give an understanding of the range of termite management systems that are used by the professional pest controller. This course aims at, not only giving the student an understanding of termites and their control, but also arming them with the questions to ask the pest controller to find out if they are truly a termite management professional.
