Sydney Community College

Ceroc is modern jive, a mix of Jive and Latin. It’s a funky and eye-catching partner dance done to a range of music such as top forties, nightclub, blues and swing and the best thing is that people of all ages find it easy to learn. You’ll be dancing after your first class. You don’t need to bring a partner as everyone gets to dance with everyone else. So come along and have fun keeping fit without trying. Suitable for beginners and continuing students.

Objectives

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

By the end of the course the student will have:

• Learned over twenty dance moves
• Learned to freestyle dance to varieties of music

Other Information

Be sure to dress in comfortable clothing and wear shoes with soles that enable you to spin.
