Aerobic Kickboxing Fitness

If you want to learn Aerobic Kickboxing Fitness in Sydney, then this course is for you.

Jab, hook and kick your way to improved cardiovascular fitness and great muscle definition. You have the discipline and control of martial arts and the energy and fun of aerobics in one complete package. The mix of kickboxing and self-defence will leave you feeling energised and strong and also help your self-esteem and confidence to soar. Experience the workout of a lifetime. This is a non-contact kickboxing class.

Agenda

During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

At the beginning simple moves and steps are introduced and as the weeks progress, so do the moves and routines as the student gains more confidence.

Objectives

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

By the end of the course the student will have:

  • Increased their aerobic fitness levels
  • Toned the body from the conditioning segment, using light weights as an option
  • Gained confidence and increased self-esteem
  • Stretch all relevant muscles appropriately and safely
  • Become aware of safety measures of exercise, training, proper nutrition, hydration, etc.
  • Attained increased fitness and strength
  • Fun!!!

Other Information

Bring hand weights (1–3kg) for conditioning segment. Please also bring towel/mat and water to each lesson.

All sport/recreation classes are active and therefore you must bring to the attention of the tutor, any physical or health-related impairment that may affect your safety.

Concord Presbyterian Church Hall is located on the corner of Concord Rd and Correys Ave, Concord.

PLS NOTE: All classes need a minimum number of students to go ahead. If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled and you will be informed. ***Please be aware that you maybe be informed of a cancellation &/or change via SMS or E-mail.

For all courses involving physical activity you must arrive by the published course commencement time or the tutor may refuse to admit you into the session. The agenda for many courses involving physical activity starts with an OH&S briefing and/or a warn up and to miss either may create a hazard to you which might exclude you from participation for the session.
