During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the variable nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.
- Buying and choosing fresh flowers
- Colour schemes
- How to fill different shaped vases and where to buy them
- Making your fresh flowers last
- Create a stunning floral display for your home
- Design a table setting
- Gift wrapping ideas
Objectives
The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.
By the end of the course, the student will:
- Know how to choose the freshest cut flowers and where to buy them
- Have learned about long lasting flowers
- Have made a modern vase arrangement for their home
- Have made easy dinner party floral decorations
- Have learned about gift wrapping
- Know how to make their fresh flowers last

- rubber gloves
- ribbon scissors
- flower cutters
- All flowers, tools and other materials will be provided on the day.
