Learn the practical skills required to effectively and efficiently facilitate meetings in a virtual coneference room. This course will consist of four one hour online sessions.

Agenda

During this online course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

Other Information

A moderate level of computer literacy is assumed.

This online course is conducted as four sessions of one hour in a virtual conference room and includes individual activities and online text-chat between sessions. Partipants will be online in the conference room between 10am and 11am each week. Text chat is asynchronous and you can participate in this part of the course at a time convenient for you.

Details on how to access the online conference room will be forwarded to you one week before the course.

Participants will need to purchase a headset which includes a microphone to participate in this course. You can expect to pay approximately $20 for a headset from Officeworks. A webcam is optional. A broadband connection is preferable but not essential.
