Blogging in the Classroom

A blog is an online journal for your own reflection and collection of information or a place to share information and resources. This course is delivered in two x 2hour sessions directly to your computer! Your teacher will meet with you online to provide demonstrations, examples and discussions. You will be provided with reading materials and activities to participate in. By the end of the course you should have your own blog and some great ideas and skills for using it for the purpose of teaching and learning.

  • Create interactive activities and discussions with learners.

  • Organise, present and store learning material online.

Learning Objectives

Create blogs in your classroom to:

  • motivate and engage learners with online text, audio and video
  • guide learners in safe and appropriate online behaviour
  • show your students the benefits of networking online
  • guide learners in the use of online tools to help them learn!
