Objectives

By the end of the course students will:

  • Identify and understand the key steps in the financial planning process
  • Determine SMART lifestyle & financial goals that they desire to achieve
  • Understand and assess their current financial position
  • Understand the key steps/principles required to achieve their lifestyle & financial goals
  • Understand key principles for investment and setting an investment strategy
  • Understand the wealth creation strategies avaiable to them
  • Learn which wealth creation strategies are appropriate for them based on their financial circumstances and attitude to investment risk
  • Apply all the knowledge gained to develop a financial plan
