Agenda

During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the variable nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

2. Stir-fry Basils
3. Spring Rolls
4. Green Curry
5. Satay Chicken
6. Larb (Warm Salad)
7. Stir-fry Fat Noodles (Pad Chee Aew)
8. Fish Cakes
9. Pad Thai
10. Fried Rice
11. Green Mango Salad with Fish or Seafood
12. Chicken Cashew Nuts
13. Tom Kha Kai
14. Panang Curry or Massaman Curry
15. Stir-fry Oyster Sauce
16. 2 Different Desserts

Objectives

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

By the end of the course the student will have:

• Learned how to cook and prepare a number of Thai recipes
• Learned about food preparation and handling
• Gained knowledge about Thai culture

Please bring a sharp knife, apron, tea towel, container, pen & paper.

Leichhardt Campus, Sydney Secondary College (formerly Leichhardt High School) is located on the corner of Balmain Road and Moore Street West. Entry via Derbyshire Street. Onsite parking very limited, some street parking available.
