If you want to learn about Astrology in Sydney, then this course is for you.

Understand your character and fate. A study of your horoscope, or astrological chart, reveals your personality and destined path. As above, so below – learn how the movements of the planets affect your everyday life, your career, relationships, talents and weaknesses. Personal horoscope included. Bring your birth details!

Agenda

During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

• Fate and free will – Are we fated or are we free? Explores how our lives are influenced by the planetary positions.
• Astrological Prediction – How the current movements of the heavens affect our lives.
• The Ascendant & Mid-heaven – How to determine one’s personal and career aspirations from a study of the horoscope.
• The Sun – Explores the Sun placement by sign as it reflects our natural ability, creative talent and life purpose.
• The Moon – Looks at how the moon sign describes both our emotional needs as well as our capacity to care for and nurture others.
• Mercury and Jupiter – How we learn, understand, find meaning and make sense of the world we live in.
• Saturn and Uranus – Explores the psychology of convention and creativity.
• Neptune and Pluto – Explores the process of psychological transformation.

Outcomes

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

At the end of the course students will have:

• Developed a deeper understanding of themselves
• An understanding of the predictive capacity of astrology
• An appreciation of the modern astrological techniques and interpretation

Other Information

Each participant will be provided with a horoscope at no additional charge. Students may also elect to purchase an ephemeris (available at specialist book stores).

Leichhardt Campus, Sydney Secondary College (formally Leichhardt High School) is located on the corner of Balmain Road and Moore Street West. Entry via Derbyshire Street. Onsite parking very limited, some street parking available.
