You will dance with a partner. It is not required to bring your own partner. Wear comfortable clothing.

Use the opportunity of learning salsa to meet other singles. Form new friendships with Sydney’s best Latin dance school, Latino Fever. After class, stay on and dance the night away with other class members. With this course you will receive free entry to different Latin nightclubs in Sydney.

If you want to learn Salsa in Sydney, then this course is for you.

Experience the passion, excitement and romance, as you learn to freestyle the hottest dance. With leading techniques, rhythm, body movements and more, increase your confidence on the dance floor. So spice up your life and put on a smile, as we teach you to Salsa South American style.

Agenda

During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the variable nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

Students will learn the following components of salsa:

  • Leading techniques
  • Rhythm
  • Body movements

Objectives

The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.

By the end of the course, students will have:

  • Learned leading techniques
  • Gained a sense of rhythm
  • Learned body movements
  • Increased their confidence on the dance floor

La Campana Spanish Restaurant/Night Club, 53–55 Liverpool St, Sydney.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring some water.

Female students may also be learning male dance steps depending on the female:male ratio.

All dance classes are active and therefore you must bring to the attention of the tutor any physical or health-related impairment that may affect your safety.
