Beginners Bicycle Maintenance
If you want to learn Beginners Bicycle Maintenance in Sydney, then this course is for you!
Conducted by a qualified bicycle mechanic, learn how to fix a puncture, remove a wheel and replace a tyre, maintain their brakes, adjust gears, check steering, pedal, axle and wheel hub bearings, check the general safety of bike and set up your bike with a correct and safe riding position.
Agenda
During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the flexible nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

- Bearings steering, pedal, axel and wheel hub
- Wheels and what tool kit you need
Objectives
The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Fix a puncture
- Remove a wheel
- Replace a tyre
- Maintain their brakes
- Adjust gears
- Check steering, pedal, axel and wheel hub bearings
- Check safety of bike generally and set up their bike with a correct and safe riding position.
