Friday night competition will be match play for children who are ready and wanting to compete. It will involve singles and doubles play with two-three players per team. It will run throughout the school term with a semi-finals and finals series at the end of each program. This program is a progression from the Little Nippers class. We start to focus on correct grips and muscle movement for children. Footwork is incorporated into the programs through teaching correct movement ot the ball and also in the recovery. Children are on a full size court using fully presurised tennis balls and we start to introduce rallying the ball and scoring.
