The Sydney Centre For Tennis
Update-June 23rd: Work has progressed more slowly than anticipated at the the centre due to the remarkable rain experienced over the past month. Someone once said, “never complain about rain in a dry country”. We take solace in that statement, however we do wish the rain would move to somewhere it is needed. Each time it rains, we loose two days while our courts dry to a point where the installation can proceed. Please watch this page for up-dates. Also, if you are not on the email list, please use the link at the bottom of the page to enlist. We will keep you up-to-date with developments.
Things you will be interested in.
1.The courts surface will remain as synthetic grass. This is in direct response to representations made by former players of the centre;
2.There will be a significant upgrade to the change room facilities and booking office;
3.We will be engaging a centre manger and ancillary staff to manage the centre.
