Free Information Session

Sydney Community College offers a free information session for their new Active Seniors Program on Friday, 11 September, from 2pm to 4pm at Rozelle.

The Active Seniors Program is a week of short courses that will enable participants to explore an activity or a subject in a friendly environment with peers. The program will run in the week from 28 September to 2 October 2009. Courses range from the arts with creative writing, drawing, painting, sculpture and mosaics to designing retirement dreams, solving cryptic crosswords, organising and using digital photos and computers (beginners and advanced). This is a fantastic opportunity to discover new skills and re-ignite old passions.

The free information session provides the opportunity to chat with some of the tutors, talk to other participants, see some of the work and explore the options available.

The information session and all courses will be held at the Design and Technology Centre in Rozelle, corner of Victoria Road and Gordon Street. Parking is available on site, and buses stop nearby on Victoria Road.
