Photography Talks
Sydney Community College is proud to present a series of photography talks by highly regarded professional photographers. Hamish Ta-mé and Josef Geranio will discuss their fashion work for magazines, designers and personal projects at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts on 26 November, 6.30pm – 9.00pm. Hear their thoughts about the industry from an insider’s perspective and examine their styles and approach to their work.
Hamish Ta-mé is a Sydney based photographer whose work with magazines and fashion designers has him ranked no. 8 in Australia for his fashion work in 2008/2009. He exhibits his personal work regularly and has shown in commercial galleries and public institutions including the NSW State Library and the Australian Centre for Photography.
Josef Geranio began his carreer as a fashion photographer in Canada and worked in Milan, Athens and New York. In 1996, Josef moved to Sydney and has since contributed to publications such as, Elle (Australia), Black & White Mode, Elle (Quebec), Uomo Vogue, New Woman (Australia), Toronto Life Fashion, etc. He has also been commissioned by fashion and advertising clients like Sabatini, Seduce, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Campaign Palace, and others. Josef exhibits his fashion and art photography in various galleries in Australia and abroad.
