A Division of Sydney Community College, a NSW Registered Training Organisation (RTO) since 1999
SCWT - Your partner in training.
In 2010, the SCWT was established by Sydney Community College Limited established to build on the Colleges reputation as an Registered Training Organisation of high standard providing accredited, non-accredited and VET training courses.
The SCWT offers training that provides access to opportunities for:
- workplace entry and transition;
- skill and career development;
- supporting learning in the workplace; and
- business development tools and practices.
Workplace training is a solid investment.
- it enables individuals to develop new skills to enter the labour market or to remain competitive within it; and
- it enables organisations to keep pace with compliance requirements, new technologies and management practices for stronger business potential.
Our courses are designed for the different styles of adult learning with a practical approach course delivery to facilitate learning transfer.
Courses offered in the public programme can also be adapted to provide the specific training needs for organisations.
Our Strengths
As an RTO since 1999, the Colleges training offering is motivated by efficiency, effectiveness, equity and excellence in the delivery of services to its clients.
The SCWT operates on a 10 month calendar for its training program, allowing individuals and organisations to plan their training needs. The SCWT complies with VET Quality Framework standards using certified qualified trainers, offering Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition Current Competencies (RCC) and Literacy, Language and Numeracy assessment and other services. we have strong links to e-Learning services and in the coming months will be offering parts or all of some subjects in distance or flexible mode.
With an emphasis on customer feedback, SCWT values and applies its continuous improvement policies.
