Kassandra Bossell

What do the movies Matrix 2, Matrix 3, Gene-X, Stealth, and Star Wars share in common? They all feature props and sculptures created by Kassandra Bossell.
But Kassandra’s work isn’t just confined to movies. She’s also created large sculptures and miniature models for the Powerhouse Museum, Melbourne Museum, Old Parliament House, Opera Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney International Airport, and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. And she’s managed to achieve this all while lecturing at the National Art School and teach art at Macquarie University – among other accomplishments.
So if your creative side is yearning to burst free, perhaps Cassandra can help mould you into the artist you’ve always dreamt about?
In Drawing Essentials, you will learn about tone, line, texture, composition, perspective, and proportion, by using various subject matters. But if drawing is not your calling, then you may want to try your hands at Kassandra’s Sculpture/Mould Making course. Here, you will learn clay sculpture techniques and mould-making processes, while working on your own project.
Whether you want to mould for the movies or draw for art displays, Kassandra can show you how.

Either way, Prue Phillips will have your feet tapping, before you can say, "Shirley Temple, here I come!"
