Experience

Chie Shattell began her career as an educator teaching English in Japan. Since arriving in Australia, she’s been teaching Japanese to students in Year 2 to Year 12, as well as adult classes. Chie’s also been involved in conducting orientation and teaching classes to introduce Japanese teacher’s assistants into the school system throughout Australia. In this role, Chie is responsible for assessing the candidates for placement in Japanese language teaching classes.

Something Unique

Chie was a Japanese tour guide before progressing to become a world travel tour guide – a role she held for 15 years. Since 1993, Chie has enjoyed many return trips to Japan, plus two world trips in the last seven years.
