Sarah Whitlock has been a full-time jeweller since 1995, and has exhibited commercially with work in private collections in Australia, USA, Singapore, Greece and Holland. Along with solo and group exhibitions, Sarah has been commissioned to create engagement and wedding rings as well as bespoke items and remodelling work.
Since 1998, Sarah has been delivering workshops, demonstrations and private one-on-one classes in silver jewellery.
Self-employed for 15 years, Sarah won the 2009 Sydney Community College Tutor Long Service Award and 2003 Highly Commended Outstanding Tutor Award as part of NSW Adult Learner’s Week.
Most recently, Sarah was commissioned to create the gold “immunity pin” for MasterChef Australia, 2010 series.
Sarah describes her style as friendly and approachable. Her students are encouraged to explore many different facets of jewellery-making (pun intended) to develop their own style in a calm environment offering many creating-solution options.
Sarah maintains high-polished nail standards while doing one of the most hand-rough jobs!
