Glenda Sladen

Country of birth –
Australia
My qualifications –
- 2000 – Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (Sydney Community College and Drake Training)
- 1975 – University degree in Accounting, Economics and Psychology (University of Queensland)
- 1973 – Certificate of Secondary Teaching (Kelvin Grove Teachers College – Brisbane)
My achievements –
I have won Toastmasters prizes at Club and Area level. I also won the prize for the highest pass in all second year Psychology subjects combined at the University of Queensland.
My teaching style –
Organizing and clearing clutter is quite specific to each individual, so I tailor my course so that students use only what suits their personalities perfectly. I do my best to motivate students to ‘get going’. I care strongly about my students. They also comment that they learn a great deal from other students and enjoy discovering points in common. Of course, we always have fun, too – nothing boring – or why bother? I was born to categorize and I’ve always worked in training, teaching and human resources – this is ideal for me.
Something unique or unusual that people might not know about me –
I run two small businesses, one of which is an organizing service, so I’m right on top of my subject.
