My achievements –
- Operated a Kumon Education Centre franchise in Ashfield, tutoring children in Maths and English to advanced levels. Many students were able to achieve advanced study awards through tuition at my centre.
- Awarded a free scholarship at NSW Business College in Diploma of Business Computing after gaining the highest marks in the scholarship selection test.
My teaching style –
I view education and learning in general as important in developing skills for improved workplace productivity and for a better quality of life. My background is in the IT industry where I have worked in application support and as a data analyst. I am interested in teaching at Sydney Community College so I can help students improve their knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and help them become more efficient and productive in their work or personal endeavours. My teaching style is structured but I am also very flexible and I adapt this to meet the needs of the students.
