Stroke Correction
If there isn't a class to suit you, please

If you are tired of being slow or having to rest every fifty metres, this is for you. Our instructors will analyse your stroke and give you advice on how to correct it by using drills that will improve your style as well as help to increase fitness and endurance.
If you want to learn to correct your swimming stroke in Sydney, then this course is for you.
Agenda
During this course the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the variable nature of Adult Education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.
- Discover the extent of correction needed
- Learn and practice suitable drills
- Use kickboard and breathing techniques
- Setting programs and goals for future exercise
Objectives
The intended Learning Outcomes for this course are as follows.
By the end of the course the student will have:
- Increased physical fitness
- Improved swimming ability
- Increased durability and improved speed
Other Information
Participants must be 18 years or over.
All sport/recreation classes are active and therefore you must bring to the attention of the tutor any physical or health-related impairment that may affect your safety.
